![]() Sealed it with silicone and put it all back together, and it fired up. I didn't have a gasket, but we had silicone. Looking closer I could see dust trails where the gasket was suppose to be. We looked on the floor thinking it had fallen out and I dropped it, but we didn't see it. Everything looked good, but I looked in the manual and there was supposed to be a gasket between the gas valve and venturi and there was not one. Some times the venturi will crap out as they are plastic on some boilers. I kind of gave up and just started dismantling the gas valve from the air intake and the venturi. We even pulled the air intake and the exhaust and tried running it with the same result. I could see a split second flash of blue flame, then nothing, so it was getting gas and air. I see nothing wrong, i could see it was just cleaned, screw it together and try fire it up. I get out there and pull the burner open, he had just cleaned it and claims it ran before he got there. I told him I could run out and see if i had any insight. ![]() He had gone out just to service and clean it, and he had worked on it for two days, many calls to factory support and the it just would not light. When I worked in outside sales for a wholesaler a contractor called and he was having trouble with a European based burner like so many of these boilers are built around.
